We all know and love our favorite Potions Professor, Severus Snape. He is very hard on all his students, and only a select few are truly in his good books, and even they do not get special treatment like some of the other professors dish out to their favorites. Severus Snape is a very lovable person, if one can wriggle their way through his strong walls he keeps up around him.

Other than Lily, he was all alone at school, besides perhaps his Death Eater buddies, and now that Snape hates the Death Eaters, he may consider them friends only because he has to due to his position as spy. Severus is a very hard person to get to like due to his various protective measures, and his nearly unreadable face, and thoughts.

Severus has only loved one person in the world, and that is Lily Evans, who he is taking care of. However, that doesn't mean that someone would not show interest in him, and may be able to get through to Severus Snape. It would take work, but it isn't impossible.

He has made more enemies than anything else in the world. He made enemies at school, and even while he was teaching. His students regard him as one of the hardest professors to impress or get along with, and he picks on the Gryffindor students, because why shouldn't he? He will be blunt and tell whoever it is what he thinks about them, unless it would screw up his double/triple agent job he is doing, otherwise he will keep up a charade with you. He will not hesitate to call you an insufferable know-it-all if you seem to always know everything, and be quite annoying about the fact you know everything.

Well Severus and Minerva are both professors at Hogwarts so there's that bit of plottage. Then there's the fact that they don't particularly like each other? The whole thing of frienemies?

Lucius&&Severus

As you know, Kat and I have some plots planned between the four of our characters! How I envision Severus' and Lucius' relationship is a bit of a complicated bromance. I tend to view Severus as a very loyal and good friend of the Malfoys, and Lucius treats Severus with as much respect as he would allow himself to give to anyone that isn't his family. There are a few things that Lucius knows about Severus that he doesn't approve of, like his affections for the Mudblood. They have their points of contention on those grounds, but regardless Lucius overlooks it for the sake of their friendship. After all, Lucius is ever grateful for how much Severus looks out for his son. I kind of want them to keep in contact and have a common grounds in the fact both of their first loves have disappeared and then pushed forward in time. They would really know what to do about that, I don't think. These are just my ideas, though. Feel free to add/subtract anything that comes to mind. <3

Severus&&Minerva

Yeah, I don't see the two getting along per se, more like rivals. In the first book it establishes the rivalry between the houses and how McGonagall would be quite happy to see Severus's house lose the cup this time. So, yeah, I see a rivalry between the two, though friendly rivalry for now.

Severus&&Lucius

Oh, I do think that would be quite interesting. Severus has always shown favoritism towards Draco, and the two; I could see as being friends/having a bromance, especially in the younger years, and even now. Severus goes so far as makes an Unbreakable Vow to do what Draco is ordered to do, though Dumbledore has already informed Severus that he would kill him, though it hasn't yet happened here. Just the fact he does that a year from now tells me that Severus and the Malfoys were close, and that Narcissa trusted him enough. And so, such a relationship would be very interesting to play out, despite the fact that Snape is in love with a muggle born, and Lucius's tolerance for it.

Well, obviously these two knew each other. Same year, and all. Plus, Narcissa didn't go to just anyone with her worries over Draco the next year. There is some obvious crazy trust built up there. With Narcissa's complete and utter lack of skills in the area of Potions, I'm sure there has been at least one moment where she'd gave gone to him out of sheer frustration.

And now that she's young and he's teaching her potions and she still sucks.

Plus, you know, obvious bromancing with Lucius and their somewhat similar situations.
Ideas? :D

Oh yes! I see Severus helping her out at least a little bit when they were in school, and trust obviously builds at some point. Why else would Narcissa be willing to go behind Voldemort's back and tell Snape about Draco's mission (as she did not know he knew)? Severus really never had good friends in school, so I don't really see them being close at least while they were in school. I would think that he and Narcissa would be in contact during Severus's time as a Death Eater in his earlier days. And since he and Lucius are, of course, bromancing it out, the two probably stayed in touch over the years, and Severus is a somewhat if not fairly close family friend of theirs.

Severus&&Iasa

I could see the two being at least acquaintances when they were at school, but her, even though probably fairly well hidden, ties to the Marauders, he did not really show her too much like. I could see the two, however, talking sometime during school, probably about Potions, or something that she would strike up in conversation, and she probably had to nearly force him to stay in the conversation by continuing to talk to him. I think that over the years, he had a small feeling inside of him, of 'yeah, she probably could've been a friend, if I had not pushed away nearly everyone back then'. And I don't see the two seeing much of each other out of Hogwarts, but otherwise, yeah! It's all good!

Corwin is unapologetically insufferable and probably several other things Severus hates. I don't know how much contact is likely, but Hogsmeade isn't far from Hoggy Warty Hogwarts so maybe Cor could be an occasion headache for Sevvy? -shot-

Ash&Severus

Ash is an insufferable know-it-all pain in the ass, but he's very good at Potions and has something of a passion for it. Severus would likely see his more well behaved side since he'd want to learn everything Severus would/could teach him (and then some). On the other hand he wants to be a mad scientist and has a tendency to blow up things in his spare time. Thoughts?

And yeah they probably won't see each other much outside of school unless she can find ways to spend time with Lily, but aside from that, she will probably harass him at the school and be a wonderful student, mostly because she likes to do her homework weeks in advance.[/ul]

SO AINE AND I HAD THIS SUPER AWESOME IDEA THAT WE'D REALLY HOPE YOU'D AGREE TO BECAUSE IT'S SUPER AWESOME. Rhian doesn't have any home to go to, just like Lily, and Rhian and Lily were former besties before she died. WE WERE WONDERING IF WE COULD PULL THE STRINGS TO MAKE IT SO THAT SEVERUS WOULD HAVE BOTH CUSTODY OF THE GIRLS UNTIL SCHOOL STARTED. It would make Lily super happy and a super happy Lily means cute fun times for Severus. <3

Yep, I completely understand! I could see the two seeing each other in Hogsmeade, or perhaps if Lily is hanging out with Cor, but other than that, I can't think of an excuse besides a random encounter that they would see each other at.

Severus&&Iasa

Poor Iasa! Severus will probably listen to her, and be nice to her, despite her somewhat there ties to the Marauders. In the original histories before this coming back thing, however, what became of her and Peter? Because it would sway Sev's feelings towards her. Anyone who seems to like the Marauders he hated with a passion but will now tolerate, and the two could've done the Iasa talking all to him with his little tiny bits of talking he would've done with her himself before she and the Marauders (mostly Peter, I suppose) began becoming, well you know, whatever would've happened in original backgrounds.

Severus&&Lily

I will say that at first he would resist, but he would figure that Lily would like it, and it would make her happy, so he would allow it. He really wants to make her happy, and will do pretty much what she wants... to a point of course. Sev will be stubborn, but in the end he'll give Lily what she wants to be happy. Perhaps even he would find out about Rhian and bring her home as a surprise for Lily, that would be pretty interesting! I would be just fine with Sevvie getting another to bring home.
